Sunshine

There is a cold breeze again this morning but it is wonderfully sunny like yesterday. It got quite hot in front of the cottages while I was painting some windows.

Change

They say you can have 4 seasons in a day on Skye, we have had glorious sunshine, wind and hail. Then this evening a lovely sunset.

Water

With so little rain the water in the burn is getting low.

Guests in the self catering cottages have been sitting out on the grass enjoying the sunshine. The trees in the wood are starting to come to life, first as usual is the horse chestnut. The rooks are cawing in the trees and looking at their old rookery but I don't think they are planning to move back in.

Fruit

Earlier this month Marcus painted the trunks of the fruit trees with a Biodynamic preparation. Lets hope for bigger, better and more fruit in the autumn.
